Microphones

  • Vektra Earfrom $1,300

A small microphone unit hears the drone's rotors and sends an alert to the guard post. It mounts on a wall or roof, works without light and notices a drone that transmits nothing. One unit covers a small area; wind and machinery noise shorten its reach.

  • Wingear Modulefrom $4,800

A microphone module hangs under your own scout drone and hears other drones in flight where microphones cannot be placed on the ground. The operator sees the direction to the sound on a tablet. Suits large grounds and temporary sites.

  • Sonaris Nodefrom $5,600

A node with dozens of microphones listens to the sky around the facility and shows which side the drone is coming from. Built-in software tells rotor noise from cars and birds. Several nodes along the perimeter feed alerts to one security screen.

  • Nembris Patrolfrom $7,800

A handheld unit with a screen shows where the drone sound comes from: the guard points it at the sky and sees a spot on the picture. Runs on battery on patrol, at an event or when checking an alert. It does not stop the drone.

  • Ostriva Arrayfrom $16,000

A large microphone array on a mount hears a drone earlier than a single node and shows the direction to it. Suits open grounds where a drone can arrive from any side. The direction is passed to a camera so it can turn toward the drone.

  • Aurion Fieldfrom $29,000

A kit of four nodes and an on-site computer: the nodes listen to the grounds, the computer gathers alerts on the security screen and marks the drone on the site plan. A six- or ten-node kit covers a large facility; ten nodes with the computer start from $67,000. Data stays on site.

Protective nets

  • Meshara CanopyPrice on request

A net with a 25–50 mm mesh covers a tank, a process unit or a small pad. It takes the hit from drones flown by video feed, along a preset route or by cable. Price depends on the area and the supports.

  • Tessara RopePrice on request

A net of stainless steel wire rope, 7×7 or 7×19 weave, mesh from 20 to 100 mm. It takes the hit of a heavy drone and stands outdoors for years without replacement. The mesh is stretched on a frame or cables over a tank, a roof or a site; the price depends on the area, the mesh size and the rope thickness.

  • Polyvex BarrierPrice on request

A light mesh of polyethylene with aramid thread, 15×15 mm openings, 2×10 m panels, 0.35 kg/m². According to the vendor it stops a drone of 1 to 8 kg at up to 120 km/h; protection height from 3 to 15 m. The panels are stretched on a modular frame along a fence, a facade or over a site.

  • Aramyx LatticePrice on request

A knotted net of aramid rope 4–10 mm thick, openings 40–100 mm, panels up to 10×10 m, 0.12–0.35 kg/m². Aramid does not burn and withstands more than 500 °C, so this mesh goes over tanks and pump houses where a drone may carry fuel. According to the vendor, a 6 mm rope breaks at a load of at least 1,500 kg.

  • Wispera WirePrice on request

A thin wire mesh of low-carbon steel that is almost invisible from the ground and from the air. Flat panels or panels rolled into a cylinder cover a tank, a transformer or a roof against a camera drone. The manufacturer's minimum order is 10 sets; the price depends on the number and size of the panels.

Signal sensors

  • Aervanta Scoutfrom $1,649

One unit travels with the guard, the other stays on site. On a map they show the drones that broadcast their own position and the controller location the drone itself reports.

  • Celyra Watchfrom $7,500

The sensor stands permanently at a warehouse, a plant or an open site and reports a drone signal to the guards: model, direction, time. The unit that can jam the drone's control link is bought separately.

  • Norevia Guardfrom $19,650

Detects signals around the site around the clock, tracks up to 30 drones at once and runs from mains or battery. The standard kit only finds drones. The jamming device is bought separately.

Radars and optics

  • Radianyx Trackfrom $15,300

The radar detects drones in the air and shows where they are. A regular camera, a night camera and the guards' screen can be connected to it.

  • Aeromere Visionfrom $15,810

The camera shows the drone day and night. A radar or sensor reports where it is. The camera turns toward the drone, follows it and saves the recording.

  • Aerovex Vector$67,998

The all-round radar detects small drones and tells the camera or the guards where they are. Installed on site or on a vehicle.

Kits

  • Veyrion Shieldfrom $12,897

The sensor detects the link with the drone. A separate device can jam the control link. The price is for the kit of sensor and jamming device; the sensor alone is from $2,399, the large version from $30,000.

  • Valtrix Horizonfrom $22,500

Shows where the drone and its pilot are and tracks several drones at once. According to the seller, it detects a drone up to 10 km away and jams the control link up to 3 km.

  • Aegivox Domefrom $180,000

Brings data from sensors, radar, cameras and the log of past alerts onto one screen. The price is public 2023 data for a business centre; the total depends on the kit.

Portable solutions

  • Packora Scoutfrom $2,285

The portable kit is set up at a temporary post or travels with a mobile team. According to the seller, it detects a drone up to 3 km away and jams the link at 1–3 km. Kit contents must be confirmed before ordering.

  • Talora Rangerfrom $2,924

A portable device shows where the drone signal comes from and can jam the control link. According to the seller, it detects a drone up to 2 km away and jams the link up to 3 km. An operator runs the device.

  • Rivanta Casefrom $14,500

The portable system in a case detects the drone, shows its location and jams the link. According to the seller, it detects a drone at 1–5 km and jams the link at 0.5–1 km. A single kit can be ordered.

Jamming and effectors

  • Quietra Directionfrom $21,000

A directional unit installed on site permanently: it is aimed at a chosen drone to jam the link with it. It has no sensor of its own, so another device must show where the drone is.

  • Lurevia GuidePrice on request

The device feeds the drone a substitute satellite signal and guides it to land at a chosen spot. Suits sites where a drone falling onto the grounds is unacceptable. The result depends on the drone model.

  • Lumetrix SilentPrice on request

The radar and camera show the laser the detected drone, and the beam damages its body. According to the seller, the laser works up to 4 km. The current price and availability of a new system are unknown.

Interceptors

  • Voltrex Hunter$6,999

The interceptor launches in under five seconds, finds the drone with its camera and chases it at a claimed speed of up to 420 km/h. Every stop needs a new interceptor.

  • Talonra PursuitPrice on request

A radar on the interceptor itself guides it to the drone. It catches a small drone in a net and carries it to a set location. For a heavy drone, a net with a parachute slows the fall.

  • Meshhawk LaunchPrice on request

The device is mounted under a drone and, on the operator's command, fires a net of about 3 × 3 m from 10–15 m away. It is on sale, but its work against a flying drone must be seen in a test.
